Welcome

This idea for this site came from a number of people including employees of the NHS in Stockport, Stockport Social Services, users and carers within mental health services and other people we’ve come across in our time in Mental Health.

It seemed so sensible to have a single port of call for people wanting information and though some of the national sites are wonderful, they’re as the name suggests: national.

We wanted to create somewhere for local people, listing local services and projects so everything is relevant and accessible, and we hope that in the future this will become a site belonging to the community, where everyone can post updates on projects, send in details of upcoming events and contribute their own personal stories and details of their recovery pathways to encourage and inspire others.
